The work of the respiratory and nervous systems is closely intertwined, essentially it is a single pair: they work together as a harmonious Swiss clock mechanism. This is an absolutely important and imperative circumstance of all our lives.
When inhaled, the sympathetic nervous system is activated in parallel, which provides a “bey or run” stress response and adapts the body to urgent requests. The child’s body is activated, focused, prepared for response according to the life context and different situations.
When inhaled correctly, the blood is as if "absorbed to the chest and goes to the brain. Friends, you will never see how a child with special needs makes a juicy right breath!
It is due to the lack of full breathing, as well as the actual complete disconnection from the work of the sympathetic nervous system and the absence of a “bey or run” stress response, unusual children with diagnoses such as autism and ASD simply do not respond to your requests, instructions and commands of a different nature.
In this run around the circle and very strange game called "Diagnoseball" with a disastrous count loses the child and his parents.
There are several important factors worthy of our attention, which directly relate to inhalation and exhalation:
Inhalation is an active phase of breathing. Inhalation creates centrifugal pressure, which affects the rhythmic movement of the diaphragm and ensures its proper operation.
Exhalation, on the contrary, is a passive phase of breathing. During exhalation, the blood flow slows slightly. The diaphragm and staircase muscles during exhalation are relaxed (this is normal!) and the parasympathetic nervous system responsible for inhibition and relaxation processes is activated!
Exhalation includes parasympathy - calms, reduces tension, restores stability.
If the breath is disturbed, there is no inclusion in the situation; if the exhalation is weak - there is no calm, and then the child lives in anxiety, impulsiveness, aggression or chaotic movement.
The attention!
When changing the pattern of breathing in the direction of shortening the exhalation, the child will constantly be in a state of background stress excitement, which affects all the physiological processes occurring in the child's body and the emotional and behavioral aspect of his life.
This condition is characterized by such well-known to you: manifestations of anxiety, tension and irritability, aggression, constant search for attention all the time. The child has a low threshold of frustration, the presence of outbreaks of anger, as well as increased fatigue and increased pressure and pulse (I recommend you measure them immediately).
Often you can encounter children without breathing and exhaling with so-called frustration. Here you will see easily aroused, hyperactive, impulsive, disobedient children prone to hooliganism and with constant protest behavior.
Therefore, breathing is not just air, but the main regulator of the nervous system and the entire condition of the child! In the absence of the proper, correct functioning of the respiratory system, you will receive disorders of the central nervous system and so well-known diagnoses and conditions.
Pay attention to the respiratory system of your child.
I have detailed all the biomechanics of breathing and the associated muscle work in my book "How to get out of the autism labyrinth". You can get a PDF directly - write me at watsap +359899391280. or sign up for an online consultation.
