Many children with diagnoses of autism, ASD, ADHD and mental and speech developmental delays face absolutely similar difficulties: they literally don’t breathe!
(only the degree of damage to the respiratory system and diaphragm is important) it is difficult for them to maintain balance, stand long, walk smoothly, maintain posture and distribute attention between the learning process and their unautomated motor activity.
Most often this is not "character" and not "behavior" - it is not working sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, weak support, impaired breathing and gas exchange in the lungs, the lack of proper functioning of the entire musculoskeletal apparatus and, of course, the diaphragm.
My biomechanical method helps to incorporate the whole body into work: restore breathing, start joint work and strengthen the foot curve, relax the tonic muscles and strengthen the weak muscles and eventually start the muscle cycle.
When children with disabilities, children with autism and RAS receive proper rehabilitation they begin to move more confidently, become less tired, become more enduring, calmer and more attentive.
This is how functional shifts in the body lead to major changes in the daily life of a special child.
In my book How to Get Out of the Labyrinth of Autism, I wrote:
The development of motor planning and respiratory function should be in my field of view from the first second of acquaintance with an unusual child.
Viewing his diagnoses and codes of autism is secondary and absolutely not the main thing. Therefore, everything is clear.I wish you too to master and learn this rule.
